The Solution

BMC® Discovery Express (DEX) manages all of the typical tasks you would expect from an Auto-discovery tool, including collection, analysis, maintenance, and reporting. DEX offers true multi-platform discovery to collect asset information on servers, desktops, network devices, etc., and can auto-discover SNMP enabled devices. The DEX information is detailed and useful, and can be leveraged with asset management products or corporate databases. DEX achieves all of this using a lightweight agent-less technology that is controlled through a Web-based interface.
